Delicious bread from the bread maker

I just got a new bread maker yesterday as mine has finally died after many years of using it at least once a week. The new breadmaker has a basket that makes a tall skinny loaf whereas my old machine made a long wide loaf. I decided to try out my favorite recipe and see if it turns out the same. I find that my bread comes out much more to my liking when I do the fast bake setting. This setting usually produces a loaf of bread in 1 hour or less. Let's see if this works for your bread maker too.

For a 2 lb loaf (my machine only has a 1.5 option and it worked fine)

1 1/2 cups water about 110 degrees
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 cups bread flour *I generally use 3 bread flour and 1 rye or whole wheat
4 tsp yeast (two packets)

Add 1 tablespoon of your favorite seasoning ( I have used pesto, spinch dip mix, dill dip mix (my favorite).

Then set bread maker to fast bake and wait for your house to smell amazing. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before placing the loaf on a cutting board.

My new addition to put lucks is to bring warm bread (from the bread maker or otherwise) . Everyone goes crazy for the warm bread - just don't forget the butter!
