Pizza Anyone?

Anyone want pizza for dinner tonight? I made a delicious pizza crust out of my favorite bread book The Easy Way to Artisan Break and Pastries. I happened to have a lot of delectable leftovers in the house and put them all on the pizza and it turned into an ultimate veggie pizza. As you can see my husband was pretty excited! On our pizza you will find spinach, fresh tomato, olive, green pepper and veggie Italian sausage. It was very yummy.

2 Cups bread flour
1 Cup wheat flour
1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons dry yeast
1 tablespoon EVOO
2 teaspoons salt

1. In the bowl of a standing electric mixer with the dough hook attachment. Mix the flour, milk, water, sugar, yeast and olive oil for 5 mins at low speed. With machine running add salt and at medium speed kneed 10 mins

2. Place dough in oiled bowl and cover with saran wrap. Let rise 1 hour

3. Transfer dough onto floured work surface. Punch down dough to remove air pockets. Roll into ball. Let rise 10 mins.

4. Place dough on pizza stone (you will see I used a cookie sheet). The recipe says to bake at 500 degrees for 10 mins but I went 425 degrees for 20 mins because my pizza was so heavy. Bake until bubbly. YUM!
