Home made chex mix - yum

Did you know that Chex cereal has been around since 1937?  As you know I love a lot of food but this may be my favorite thing I ever make.  I always make a double batch - which spells trouble.  At my parents, growing up my brother always made this for Christmas.  Now my husband and I make it each Christmas in our own home.

INGREDIENTS

3
cups Corn Chex cereal
3
cups Rice Chex cereal
3
cups Wheat Chex cereal
1
cup mixed nuts
1
cup pretzels
1
cup cheese crackers
6
tablespoons butter or margarine
2
tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2
teaspoons seasoned salt
3/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon onion powder

DIRECTIONS - heat oven to 250 degrees
1.
In a roasting pan (I find this works best, use cookie sheets if you don't have one) place butter and allow to melt in oven. Place seasonings in butter and mix.  Add cereal, pretzels, nuts and crackers until covered.
2.
Place pan in oven.  Bake mix 1 hour stiring every 15 mins.  Take out of oven and cool on paper towels then ENJOY.
